National Network Expansion and NMS/OSS Modernization
TalkTalk PLC engaged our team to support their strategic initiative, Consolidate and Grow, aimed at modernizing and simplifying their core infrastructure while enabling a more agile and scalable service delivery model. The objective was not just technical consolidation, but also to reshape the business into a more responsive, service-oriented organization.
The project centered around consolidating several regional data centers into two high-capacity Super DCs, with the goal of improving customer experience and laying the foundation for new, monetizable service offerings. In parallel, the company sought to evolve from a product-based structure to one that could deliver flexible, market-driven services.
Our technical team began by analyzing live network traffic across the organization to understand current usage patterns and dependencies. From there, we reverse-engineered the existing network topology and developed a detailed current-state report to surface inefficiencies and redundancies. With this baseline established, we worked with TalkTalk stakeholders to design a future-state architecture that would support both current needs and long-term growth. We then created a practical, phased roadmap and change management program to support the transition—ultimately helping TalkTalk consolidate its infrastructure into a scalable, service-based model.
“The team was highly efficient and worked with great diligence, cooperating, communicating, and coordinating with our staff—bringing a wealth of technical and operational expertise to this most critical programme.”
— Robbie Macintosh, Operations Director
“They have been instrumental in bringing a new perspective to our business operations and in helping us understand the landscape better through their involvement.”
